Oh To Fly As High Poem by Juan Olivarez

Oh To Fly As High

Rating: 5.0

Oh to fly as high,
As a dragonfly.
On gossamer wings,
In the summer sky.

A rainbow of colors,
Just buzzing around.
Flying contented,
Above the ground.

Dipping their tails,
In the running stream.
Perching on cattails,
Lost is their dreams.

From early in the morning,
Till past twilight.
The dragonflies,
Are a beautiful sight.

I don't know if this is what you had intended, for me it talks about contentment. As always, I love reading what you write.
