Ol’ Misery Poem by Dean Meredith

Ol’ Misery

Ol’ misery’s a friend o’ mine
We often meet for cheese ‘n’ wine
Sometimes loneliness comes along
Worn out shoes ‘n’ a bran’ new song

Smoke ‘n’ joke ‘n’ bluff our way
Rememberin’ when them queens did stay
Films ‘n’ photos ‘n’ books in our heads
‘N’ love stained sheets on unmade beds
