Old Bodies Poem by Dorsey Baker

Old Bodies

Old bodies
bad air exhale
breathe too deeply
rot of the egg
Venus shies
away
but the moon
comes close
just to watch
the trees as they
sway
watch the wave
of the ocean as it licks
the foot of the beach
old bodies
offer nothing
but too much
remembrance!
