Old Glory Poem by Daniel Miltz

Old Glory

Youthful America developed
Bygone era, uncloaked, awakened
Independence. Opportunity
A country, with fire in the belly
Shimmering lights, wild blue yonder
Attitude with no surrender
In one way or another
With respect to life, alongside
Self-determination, freedom with pride
Belief in one's worth, for the Stars and Stripes
