Time is ever fleeting,
you seem to grow up oh so fast;
I cherish every moment I spend with you,
the memories i hold in my grasp.

You are so very beautiful,
a woman soon to be;
Smart and clever in many ways,
with a heart as strong as the sea.

I wish I could be with you daily,
to share in your special life;
When roads are smooth and full of fun,
when you struggle with daily strife.

But for now this can not be,
as we are miles apart;
So I carry you with me daily,
safe deep inside my heart.

Till we get our time to be tohgether,
till your smile I get to see;
Please know I love you oh so much,
you mean the world to me.
