On Blue Lined Paper

I write on blue lined paper as if on the edge of the skies
the angel cried sing what you mean is the paper blue or the line
it's a sunset now I said thanks so much
I can't write anything on it
the angel flitters away with hurt feelings
I feel sad
I feel cold
I dont like to feel cold
cold makes me sad
someone said in D.C.
it was on a blog somewhere
people registered there a few laughing emojis
what is wrong I thought with a person saying
its been cold for so long I don't like to feel cold
I am sad
sounds real enough to me, clear enough
it wont win any awards but its how the person feels
and anyone feels who has to take a lot of buses and
transfer when its 20 degrees by breakfast time and only gets to 35
by rush hour for months

what is the point of ridicule its hard enough to hurt
someone's feelings by mistake without
doing it on purpose as if it's a career goal
do you want fancier language
do you want me to be obscure

to no one hurt for a moment in the butterfly
hummingbird span of their life fluttering away
does the moment of humiliation
feel obscure.
