By the riverside walkways
I love to roam.
Or sit on a bank watching
leafs fall from home.
And as they land on the surface
and swiftly float away.
I wish I was that leaf today.
And let the water just carry
me to and fro'
away from this wild circus show.
To a brand new adventure
right out of the blue,
with the ocean nearby
and the sun shining through.
It's just an escapism,
a little time out
from all this fussing and running about.
I guess we all need them now and again.
To keep us from going totaly insane.
watching the leafs and trying to understand this life-a very good advice-great poem, thank you for sharing
