On Distant Stars Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

On Distant Stars

Sinner people
Ferment trouble
Keep playing
And falsely saying

See their cunning faces
You may feel bad about race
The human values you may hate
And curse the fate

Their only aim
To claim
Top position
With no human relation

Money and fame
To collect without shame
On the name of religion
With people from regions

They will come to guide
And confide
About keeping peace
With no peace to release

It is not their concern
Whether you live or die in turn
They will earn even from coffins
Let country lose or win

Today we have gone far
And relied on distant stars
Hey only can twinkle
But can't make life beautiful
