On Jupiter the ‘great red spot'
refers to whopping storm begot
upon the giant planet gas,
the hugest world that came to pass
within our solar system's lot.
The Hubble image scopic shot
for mortals on our pale blue dot
reveals the gale has shrunk in mass
on Jupiter.
Great Nature's course the stars shall plot;
meantime our Earth ‘forget me not'
and planets of the solar class
go ever through the looking glass,
while rages tempest apricot
on Jupiter.
