There are two things,
I will never consciously do...
To myself,
Again.
After marrying twice,
And losing those emotional investments...
That is on my 'Do-Not-Ever-Do Again' List.
I remember once,
Teaching someone how to drive...
My car.
Out of the goodness of my heart,
I tried to teach how to drive a standard shift.
You know...
A stick shift!
Well...
The engine was ruined because of this.
I went ballistic.
With a destruction of a friendship,
Behind it.
Those two experiences,
I choose never again to revisit.
Unless,
Of course...
Amnesia slips in and it is enforced.
