On One Point Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

On One Point

Silence has wide meaning
That we may not be experiencing
When life is not stable
And undergoing struggle

Day's hectic movement needs peace
Mind wants rest and be a an ease
Silence is preferred to noise
To confine somewhere alone is person's choice

If mind is seized with burning desire
It shall always be on fire
The countless thoughts may be invading
Exchanging and ceaselessly trading

Mind is troublesome ground
Where nothing useful is found
Every time it hunts for worldly pleasure
We have no control or ready measure

Mind can be made free
If attachment tendency is allowed to flee
From set mind to free zone
"No worry" if that is allowed to be gone
