Looking at me strangely,
Every time I look at you
I wonder where you go to
When I've something else to do

We pass each other daily
Many times unnoticed
Going about our business
On other things are focused

Dear friend you reassure me.
When looking in your eyes,
I know you so very well,
For me there's no suprise

The years are showing in your face
The wisdom and knowing smile
Be good to yourself, dear heart you see
We're only here for a while

Together we will always be
Side by side or faced
I'll keep smiling at you
As you'll always be in your place

Never to be parted,
While with my eyes I see
For you will always show me
The best and worst of thee
