On The Pulse Of Maturation... Poem by Frank James Ryan Jr...fjr

On The Pulse Of Maturation...

Rating: 5.0

Pearl white, ash black infant sparrows
Staring...at the empty bottles of merlot
Mesmerized...by their hued rufescent
Bemused...to the slow bleeding nuance
Fly not nestlings....still dwarfed you be
On midnight jaunts...while crows stalk

Soon you'll feel freedoms pulsing Heart
Bare Instinct superseding Mother-Love
Untie these nurtured threads, break free
Maternal mission finished, now it's time
To take wings....into the southern winds
Sparrows live to fly...the southern winds

I think I remember this powerful poem! Hints of the humans presence, and danger of crows could not stop the little sparrows enjoy life, follow their mothers hearts, how brilliant! Agree with Kumamarni, amazing penning, thank you!
