On What You Poem by Francis Duggan

On What You

On what you do or on what you do say
Never harm anyone in any way
On your social climb to wealth and renown
In your words or deeds never drag others down
Those who help people of their helping in need
For their future good karma are planting the seed
Many wealthy and famous people in their thinking are small
In fact they are not honourable people at all
Those who can go through life without ever harming anyone
Of living life one can say a good job have done
They believe in the theory of giving to receive
On living an honourable existence they do believe
So many wealthy and famous people in every town
Who on their way up have dragged others down.
