Once Dead Forever Alive

Once dead forever alive
Hallelujah for the Lamb
God's perfect Sacrifice for sin
Our Lord Jesus Christ... amen!
Absolutely astounding
Up from the grave He arose
Now... forever praises still ring
As they will be around the Throne

A Book of infallible writing
Authored by the Holy Spirit
Who moved and worked in holy men's lives
To record words so we could adhere to it
Praise God the Bible still stands
And it shall stand forever
We shall be judged by its sixty-six books
To the law...and to the letter

And our faith comes by hearing
And hearing by the Word of God
Better get into the book and take a look
While your feet are still on earth's sod
Once dead forever alive
Hallelujah for the Lamb
God's perfect Sacrifice for sin
Our Lord Jesus Christ...amen!
