The lockdown did not bother
The soft breeze of early summer
It entered from the garden
To play waves with my curtains
It softly touched my hair
To draw me through the curtains
Into the balcony facing the garden
With the eternal charms of Eden
Trees stood bathed in moonlight
As the night lay tender and quiet
I spotted a pink moon glancing
Through the coconut leaves swaying
They opened and closed in the wind
And a soft tune played in my mind
I stayed there trapped as I knelt
As the pink moon cast its spell
Ah nature, you know how to heal
With your splendour, all our ills
For centuries we have been cured
By your beauty that has endured
