Once More Poem by Rajeswari A V

Once More

Rating: 4.0

I vowed never to mull over you
Never to let my eyes look for you
Never to throw my smile at you
And never to have even a word with u
Dissolved the whole resolve
The moment you took pains
To regard my grievance, then
To listen to my meaningful sighs
Having a lot to utter
And to recite my anguish out
Made me rather voiceless
And restrained in my response
You spoke as usual as always
In your ever enigmatic voice
Pouring unfathomable concern
But with the touch of uncertainty
I gave in, as usual, at last
And let out no sign of closeness
For the fear of getting the next shock
And trying in despair to vow again
