Once Upon A Time... - Poem by indira babbellapati

once upon a time
the sky bloomed
with stars guiding
once upon a time
there were rains
at the appointed time
once upon a time
the moonlight spread
evenly on all terrains
once upon a time
the flowers blossomed
the trees bore fruit
and everything in plenty
once upon a time
the earth moved on its axis
the way it should

when stars are hardly sighted
when there's no moonlight visible
when all we know are cyclonic storms
when we rarely get to see a flower smiling
when we eat fruit synthetically ripened
when the earth keeps jolting on its axis

will any believe my once upon a story?

We keep moving farther and farther from things natural. Nicely stated. (Report) Reply

Yes, I do. Once Upon a Time will always be an enclave in the architecture of your mind. Ever wonder why?
