One Bow Was Keen, One Unseen Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

One Bow Was Keen, One Unseen

Rating: 5.0

His bow to the monarch was no mean,
To dragon’s might as mute as unseen;
And signal came unfurled
To the bi-polar world,
There’s reason for us to see nigh green.

President Obama’s bow to the Japanese Emperor was
rather too deep; excessive, many might think. There were
no such apparent bows in China, his next stop. But he
returned home almost empty-handed, offering too many
concessions: Visit of Dalai Lama postponed; Tibet declared
as part of China; China’s role in Indo-Pak dispute conceded;
and many on the economic and trade fronts. And all this
while India kept getting homilies and lip-service!

Ah 2009 vintage. We in world have short memories. In one year; s time we forget, this is ten. In 2009 people might understand the context, not much later. I generally upload my poems not immediately. And hence these notes. Thanks indeed for doing some digging.
