One Day I'Ll Swim Across Poem by Bryce Edward Coast

One day I'll swim across
And reach you on the other side
Upon the shores of Heaven
There, forever to reside

My star, my angel, gone too soon
I'm left behind to age alone
Here within a world, unstable
Faith is my unmoving stone

But not one shortcut, will I take
I know, in time I'll see your face
And all the other ones I've known
Will be there, in that sacred place

So as for now, I'll just imagine
Memories, will help me smile
Till your hand pulls me ashore
I'll try to make it all worthwhile
