One In Prayer Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

One In Prayer

Mind hanging from the ceiling like left-over holiday tinsel,
sparkling in the light, but the source of it's life, it's
essence is now gone.

Once we were so much in love, hearts as one when together,
our lives like stars in heaven when we were younger, nothing
to get between us ever.

We shared every moment and no one could take that away from
us for our souls were one in prayer, never doubting what we
both had together.
