One In Spirit Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

One In Spirit

Trees standing quietly outside, green and vibrant, enjoying their
solitude I'm sure, much like this poet while writing, not wanting
to be interrupted.

Just be left alone to do what I love to do in life, shadows of
trees standing silently beneath them, moving according to what
direction the sun is shining.

Between the trees, shadows and this poet we've become one in
spirit, loving the silence and solitude that we've been used
to through the years, watching one another grow and mature.
