One Last Event Poem by Prof Niamat Ali Murtazai

One Last Event

Recently thy freedom will be snatched
New age in the womb of Time will be hatched
A silent storm will stow you in a ditch
Layers andlayers on it will be patched.

You will be forgotten by your dear ones
They will have their own moons and suns
New events will distract their thoughts
Lost memory through busy lanes no moreruns.

Silent Time commands us tofollow suit
In deep sepulcheris to be installedlife's root
The gap between Earth and Heaven can't be filled
Life is to be lost; Desire can't pursuit.
