One May Contribute Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

One May Contribute

Rating: 5.0

This one may contribute a lot
To blame self against real evil and fought
Know fully well that something has really gone wrongs
That can't be changed by reciting hymns or holy songs

Never feel guilty that others are sinners than you
They may be less and can’t be proved as true
You must thrive to compare good with best
Humanity demands that this is the real test

I feel bad when something differently is noticed
Deceive people by different mode while promised
How can they be superior in deceiving?
When they professed same religion and believed

This can be accepted sarcastically
How can there be any equation basically?
How the performance or practicing evil can vary with degree?
Who will voice in affirmative and totally agree?

No religion can afford to teach insubordination
That too for fellow brethren in question
This may create bitterness and possible alienation
Widen the gap among nationals creating problem for nation

No one can claim or boost free from sin
It is common and known fact and in fact been
No one can take solace from being less or more
This is matter deserved to be condemned or deplored

We need to feel guilty on this count
No religion teaches or encourages us to mount
An attack based on ideology without solid reasons
And take blame to be intolerant and as bigotry persons
