One More Day Poem by Rachel Brewer

One day is all I need.
One more day on this planet, and I’ll be ready to leave it.
I need to tell people,
Tell them I love them, and I’ll miss them.
I want them to know I’m safe, and that they shouldn’t worry.
I’m in good company here and everything will be alright.
All they have to do is send me their love,
As often as they can,
And they will never let me go.
So all I need is one more day,
Then I’ll go.
Because as long as people know how much I love them,
I’ll be ready to leave them,
Because there’s nothing more in this world I want,
Than to feel their love.
