One Morning ~08/17/1997

Woke up one morning.
It wasn't a dream.
I felt empty inside.
Life isn't at all what it seems.
One day you were there.
You were my best friend.
I love you so much.
You just don't understand.
you put a smile on my face.
I was a changed person.
My feet never touched the sand,
because how fast the world spun.
You opened my eyes to the world.
I see what lies ahead of me.
But, I think you're still blind.
Soon you'll open your eyes and see.
My mind said it was over
and I should let you go.
My heart said hold on
and let go of you, no!
I can't follow my heart,
when there's nothing from you.
So, I've moved on forward
and I know you have to.
