One Night Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

One Night

One night,
in the shadow of a borrowed room,
two bodies met,
not as lovers,
but as strangers seeking forgetfulness.

The sheets whispered secrets
that would never be spoken,
and time,
indifferent to names,
slipped through restrained.

Your gaze,
a fleeting spark,
a beacon in the storm of the fleeting.
My hands,
a map without a destination,
traced paths across your skin.

There were no promises,
no mornings planned.
Only the now,
the moment that claimed us
as its own.

And when dawn broke the spell,
we left in silence.
No goodbyes,
no questions.
Two shadows dissolving
into the vastness of the city.
