One Of The Happier Poem by Francis Duggan

One Of The Happier

One of those who does not do materially well
And of any success he does not have to tell
With two young children to support and a wife
He is one who does not have an easy life
With food and clothes to buy and a house mortgage and bills to pay
He has to work hard every working day
Yet in mood he is one who never seems down
He is one of the happier people of the town
Where happiness is he is not out of place
He always does have a big smile on his face
Of his lot in life he does never complain
The positive attitude he does retain
He says my wife and children are happy and healthy and life with me is okay
And i am so lucky in many a way.
