One-Sided Tag Match Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

One-Sided Tag Match

Rating: 1.5

The long-haired cat
Quietly sat

He was extremely bored
Out of his gourd

He had a ball of yarn
But he didn’t give a darn

From his eye
He did spy

A gray glimmer…
His glint shimmered

An entertaining friend
Until the end

With a gentle paw nudge
The tag mate did not budge

Little mouse with a long tail
Sadly, your boat has set sail
