One Tough Chick Poem by Randy McClave

One Tough Chick

She's one tough chick I will say
She's one tough chick in every way,
The only time that I have ever seen her cry
Was when her child believed in a lie.
As a child she was sorely neglected
She was used, abused, and many times rejected,
I have never seen any woman any tougher
Be it a wife, or girlfriend, or sister, daughter or mother.
She has been punched and kicked to the core
But, not once did she stay on the floor,
And when someone's life had turned to worse
She proudly was there to be their nurse.
She is a Good Samaritan to one and all
As a nursing mother taking care of her own children said Paul,
A good caring woman she truly is indeed
Lastly she'll always put her own wants, and cares and need.
When tragedy or sadness in her life does ever occur
I have never seen another woman like her,
She would had given her life for her child to be born
And sadly for her, not one person would had mourn.
All alone she had fought and then beat her cancer
God then put her in the ring to become a dancer,
If a protector and a friend I had only one to pick
It would easily be her, that one tough chick.
