One wonders what the day will hold
The shining sun or clouds,
One wonders if in life you're lively- bold-
Or too often get the wet and soggy towel.
One wonders, and you'll never know-
More bruises and the pain,
Or the everlasting rainbow arc
And that girl you'll meet again.
Life has a treasure chest to unlock-
The bitter and the sweet,
So never sleep nor slumber
on the road you take
For you never know just what you'll meet.
Yes, one wonders and wonders-
but it's unlikely that for sure you'll ever know
The plot line of your wonders,
And the sly staging of the awaiting show.
