Part I, At Long Last: Hope! Poem by Bryan Taplits

Part I, At Long Last: Hope!

'No longer am I as tempestuous,
No longer in my prime',
I reviewed while driving in my car,
'No longer is this my time'.
But as I drove above the hills
Above wispy clouds, enrobed in fleece,
I floored my car and then I soared:
Last Stop was at 'Belief.'
I felt a hug-a reclused saint
And entered a vaulted sky so blue so loud,
'Magnificent! My turquoise heaven-
Adorned in pink flamenco clouds'.
