Ones Self - Poem by susan gallagher

Self respect is only your own
if you dont have that
whats the point in your life
as it may as well be disposed

thinking your fine
is not always right
hidden away is a scary sight

not knowing what will be
is sometimes better than
seeing you fall to your knees

everything you think about yourself
always matters
because if you show nothing
what's the point in them caring
