The internet
A modern marvel
A virtual travel
To places we only dreamt
The places we go
Without leaving our beds
The friends we make
Without even a handshake
Yet that's not amazing as how
We choose those friends over the ones
We break bread with
How I'll be watching a movie
With my best friend
Yet chatting with my friend
Laura from Chicago
I'll laugh at the silly conversation
My best friend wondering how i find humour
In a sad movie
I tell him it's something
My friend Laura has said
He asks which Laura
He doesn't know her
Yet he knows all my friends.
