Years have gone by
with our try
to raise the banner of revolt
it has proved the blue from the bolt

we gained freedom
but raised seldom
against the scandals or corruption
it is a blot on the working of the nation

why against only one presidency
in spite waging it with consistency
it has to fight against the system
whether it is against or in favor of them

the public has to suffer
nobody can eliminate an age-old slavery
we have gained liberty and freedom
but lack the wisdom!

the corruption may go on
the criminals and politicians will win
the legal battles and elections
we shall watch it as helpless citizens

the enemy is within us
and we lack the trust
we are, sometimes, play in the hands of an adversary
who is out to destroy the economy

play safe and demonstrate
but don't turn as irate
it shall only affect adversely
we shall face further misery
