Only Writers-No Readers Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Like writing, reading and commenting need time and patience. Some writers are busy in posting thousands of poems by their hard works and and they have no time to read others. Some of us we read giving our valuable time, read thoroughly and comment nicely having patience but thousands dislikes are put by few persons in those comments. Still we read forgiving them.

You have amazingly observed. This is a thought provoking poem. There should be mutual respect and a poet should be a reader too. All are crazy to write poems and no one likes to read of other's then this is so sad. If we read and comment some blame us. Some put dislikes. Few do here nasty politics and other good poets believe them when they express false emotion.

If we give whole time in reading others and writing comments for them, then time is observed there and we cannot write more new poems and we post less. In such case there are few they blame us and quarrel using bad word. I have written more than 42,000 (forty-two thousands) comments for poems of other poets. It has taken my much time and hard work. It needs patience.

If I were writing poems I would have written more than 42,000 poems. Because my each comment would be a poem! Time is invested in commenting, so less time is invested in writing. Time is much precious. If anything we need in life we must give it to others. Every action has reaction. If we need that others should read us, then we should read them. If we need a comment then we should learn to give!

Poets should come up from nasty politics. A poet who is writing should be a reader. Here selfless readers like us are very few. All writers or poets are crazy that their works should be read and admired. No doubt, new writers should be encouraged. You are right. Fresh water should flow. But from a flowing river we should learn its values that how selflessly river serves both shores and enter into sea.

This is what is happening here, good poems and good writers flee and what remains is bunch of junks. Lets hope things will change someday.

Swain and Cronick took your statement as the truth, and repeated the claim of 14 accounts. The reason I'm popular rests on different IPs. If I had 14 IPS I would need to simultaneously live in 14 different countries. Go figure.
