Open Letter To God Poem by Oscar Benjamin

Open Letter To God

Fathoming your valor
You show the sun
And release HIV/aids
Human-life inflation
That feeds on workforce and skill
A weevil
An evil
That so our life envy
We try fight back to no avail
And sometimes gimmicks to blackmail
Some say it is because of the dominance of male
Locations of cemeteries
And a preponderance of graves
Save a yardstick to times lackadaisical walk
Still we say our prayers in Ernest
Our wish and will for these wily infants
To taste adulthood.
.......................................................................................................
for the red ribbon at an akimbo
