Openly Seen Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Openly Seen

Rating: 5.0

If an adversary is learned man
He should be accepted and given
Full honor for his mastery over subject
At least he has devoted his life time for act

People have now become fame hungry
They become arrogant and get angry
Over little attention if ever paid
They retort and insult with use of words unsaid

The sun can't remain hidden
The rays can be nakedly seen
So the contribution shall always be recognized
Whether you organize the function and oblige or not

The functionaries keep grudge in mind
If ever person had said something or was unkind
He shall be pulled down openly and insulted
His name shall be removed before being consulted

It is pure ego politics
It has no relevance or basic
It is merely done to bring name on fore
It is openly seen therefore

It is an exquisitely crafted lyrical poem of great value. The subject has been treated with perfection. The hypocrisy and vanity propel men with dubious credentials covet for what is not theirs. Thanks for sharing some fine poetry this morning.
