Opinions Disqualified Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Opinions Disqualified

Don't let anyone decide,
One's color of skin.
Should be your reason,
How you determine anyone's intelligence.
Or what they may have experienced,
To feel emotionally within.

Be you Black, White, Hispanic or Asian.
There might come a time,
To find at least once in your life.
Your opinions to give may not be right.
And it will not be because of your skin color.
Or lack thereof.
It may be your attitude.
With it proven you can disrespect.
That makes you disliked.
By others wishing you,
And your point of view...
Would exit from them to forget
