Opposing Brothers Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Opposing Brothers

Opposing brothers

White Swan's video,
Showed a wavy water,
In it moon reflected,
On surface, bird landed.

Felt seeing beauty,
Of sweetest-sixteen
Thanks to the DOP.

Having told, I must say:
"Let me be clear,
I oppose the borders."

Am against walls, cages,
Same are genders, races,
None is worse, nor better,
I repulse superiors...

Yes, oppose presidents
When ruling a nation
By using one anthem
As the best, dominion
To hurt non-citizens.

In our life, on surface
Can feel me everyday!

We, and the beast in the wild,
Are the same when blind!

Focusing on one side
Is looking at the wall.

My mentor is Rumi,
He mentioned ant on leaf:
"Makes mistake with limits! "

All of us repeat, shout
If fallen in some cup:
"Ended world and our life,
The floods will kill us! "

I was born in Iran,
Not small cat of now
But in old borderless
Of so-called Persia:
"Athena to China,
Cyberia, Zanzibar."

On that wisdom rely:
"Ignore the borders, walls,
And believe must unite,
Defending Earth, skies! "

Wisdom says: "Open eyes, "
It demands: "Soar too high."

By reading the Bible,
Following Eve, Adam,
We see their sons differed.

Of course, we had tribes,
They dwelled all around,
As if our uncles, aunts.

Dipping in history of Islam
Removes dark, yaya of sun
Tells us how governments,
And most of faiths' leaders
Abused us like their pets!

Plain are proverbs,
Reveal why brothers,
Children of same faith,
Can be far and furthered,
Go against each other!

See "Battle of Trench, "
Architect was Roozbeh,
He, Salman of later,
Chose to be warrior,
With Islam, not Persians,
While Piruz, another brother
Rose dagger for killing Caliphate!
