Oral Roberts -1918-2009

He’s with his”darling Evelyn”now
as well as with the Lord.
Gone on ahead to celebrate
and receive a rich reward.

I’m sure Grandma will welcome him
with all of those who held him dear.
Yet he has left an empty place
for those of us left here.

I know that all did not love him
so just say what you will.
But also tell how many times
God’s used you to heal.

I remember as a little girl
on his Sunday morning show.
The many; many miracles
and how he let us know.

God is the same yesterday
today and evermore.
God is good and for His own
has good things in store.

He finished his race, and kept his faith
and now is laid up for him;
an eternal home with Jesus Christ;
and his darling Evelyn.
