Ordinary People 02 Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

Ordinary People 02

They walk among us,
with tired eyes and calloused hands,
bearing stories no one stops to hear.
Their laughter is quiet,
their pain invisible,
their dreams tucked into corners of the night.

They are the ones who rise early,
before the world remembers the sun,
and keep the gears turning,
the streets clean,
the shelves full,
The fires burning in the hearts of homes.

They do not ask for applause,
do not stand in the spotlight,
but their footprints leave quiet echoes
on the fabric of life.

Ordinary people-
they carry the weight of the world
without seeking to wear its crown.
