Original Sin’s Dividend Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Original Sin’s Dividend

Rating: 5.0

If God had not
invented old age.
We would have found
some other way.

Of wasting ourselves.
Have we not?
A thousand plus pitiful
destructive ways.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Cunning, smart, critical. But hummbly, somehow, here we are. We still exist. Maybe because the are souls, not the mayority, but there are, that sparce creative beauty. I think that God (however you may conceive It is) , - hummblier than earlier -, problably loves that. Laura

We all create are own destruction. And its is as you stated 'If God had not invented old age. We would have found some other way.' He didn't invent it, we die only cause of our own poor health. Immortality is achievable, but not one person is willing to do what it takes to obtain it and thats to stay in perfect condition. Love this write Terence!
