Other Ships To Sail Poem by Dorsey Baker

Other Ships To Sail

she wide she long she deep
she shipwreck
on the bottom of the ocean now
her sailing days
now gone
she sit very still
as the world passes by
no a
wild wind to blow her around
toss her up and down
and move her about
just so much wear and tear
the rusty floor
to eats away at her now
her long sad story
has been told now
it's lonely
way down in the deep
where no beautiful birds
come to visit
now that her greatness
is gone
it is now time
for other ships to sail
