Our Dreams Poem by Kathryn Brookins

In your dreams, you can be anyone you want to be,
you can make up the things you choose to see..
look into your future, look back into your past,
whatever you dream, its not gonna be your last.
make the most of your dreamland, and make it your get away,
this is your time, what else can I say...
see your world and get your messages straight,
see your life and understand your fate.
analize your dreams and follow your heart...
for the two go hand in hand, they are not seperate and apart.
We are all here for a purpose, there are no mistakes,
dreams are not the making or the breaks...
they are leading us through our path,
getting us through the tears and making us laugh,
dreams can direct us if we allow them too,
so maybe this is what I need and maybe also for you.
Look to your dreams for the insight you seek,
life is so much more than any of us think.
