Our Earthly Fruit Poem by Randy McClave

Our Earthly Fruit

If one man had said no
Then if another man had followed suit,
Then none would had seen a foe
And for a war, no one would ever put on a boot.
If one man didn't listen to a greedy Politician
And others followed by becoming mute,
Kindness instead would had been their mission
Then no one, would they want to shoot.
If one man had asked others to act like men
To think out their own problems and dispute,
Not screaming about evil or sin
Then their salvation, they would not uproot.
If one man had stood up against hate
And others echoed not to tolerate a bully or a brute,
Proudly together they'd walk strong andstraight
Then together, they'd share the Earthly fruit.
