Ted, I feel your pain, I am right now going thru this same thing with my 13 year old son. I am his stepfather, but I think alot of his hate & aggression stems from his real fathers lack of paticapation in his life. I wish you all the best, and god knows I feel for both you and yourwife. this defiantly held my attention. Was able to see the whole innocent in my mind clearly. Not to mention the pain one would have to feel to write such a piece. Nice writing here. True or not, none of my business. as a poem worth reading more then once for me shows how to follow through with a thought.
