Our Own Endeavour Poem by Somali Mukherjee

Our Own Endeavour

Rating: 5.0

Without shedding gore,
Silently adore
God in mankind;
Envy turns us blind;
We lose reason;
We commit treason;
We act unkind.

Suppressed fears,
Depressed tears
Haunt today's people;
Life becomes brittle;
Not heaven above
But human love
Can change this world a little.
