Our Summer To Remember



May through September
A meadow of days
Awash with color and surprise
Each intertwined the way two hearts
Meld into one when colors are at peak

October with orange and yellow
Abbreviated days christens the sky
As we wend our way along pathways
Of a gorgeous state called Color Red
Known to all admirers as Colorado

May through September
Now in the rearview mirror as
October watches with intrigue
For the approaching white stillness
And we reminisce of
