Our Words - Poem by Hasmukh Amathalal

Let us not feel pity
As it is wish of an almighty
To keep you struggling
With face ever smiling

What makes poor feel happy?
He is passing through difficult time already
Yet she has hope for bright tomorrow
Honest attempt shall always allow

They have their own thinking
To deal and live as human being
Nothing comes in their way
To prevent from happy stay

I offered food to laborer
He declined with thoughtful honor
“Today I may have good dish”
Who will offer me daily golden fish?

They are poor but rich in behavior
No one begs to survive but go for
Simple living and hard work
“Tomorrow, tomorrow” someone will hear our words
